Zion National Park

First hiking trip as family "What a majestic scenery!" This was the first expression that I said once we arrived at Springdale, the small town where the entrances to Zion National Park in Utah is.  Big red mountains-rocks with limited vegetation are the main characteristic of the area. The waterfalls, the river were bringing even more freshness to the air. A few snow patches were sign telling that winter is almost gone, the sun was out and spring has arrived. We were amazed by the variety of birds and animals that someone can spot in Zion Park. The Emerald Ponds, the Canyon Overlook, the Grotto, the first part of The Narrows and the Riverside Walk are the trails that we decided to do in 2.5 days. Having the baby with us on our first hiking trip as a family was already an experience, so we decided to not challenge ourselves with difficult trails and we have chosen easy and moderate trails.
